1959 Ford F-250 Stake Bed Ranch Truck Additional Info:

Wonderfully patina'd, all stock and original, vintage 1959 Ford F250 stake bed ranch truck which has spent it's entire life in the dry, desert climate of Southern Utah (about 125 miles north of Las Vegas). I'm selling it for a friend of mine whose husband passed away from cancer and left behind a small collection of trucks. This is one of the last and has been parked since 1988.
The running gear is in what appears to be good condition. The 292cid Y-Block V8 spins freely. The manual transmission goes through the gears smoothly. There are no mods to be found anywhere. The hydraulic brakes and clutch both go to the floor. The truck rolls easily and all tires hold air. I haven't tried to get the truck running (shouldn't be difficult) but it will need freeze plugs replaced.
The interior is all original. The dash is perfect with no cutting or butchery of any kind. All buttons, knobs and switches are still there. Windows roll up and down properly. Gauges and idiot lights on the instrument cluster look great. Floor boards have modest rust-through but running boards are still solid. Original seat upholstery is still in place under the seat cover which I just installed. And I haven't found the keys yet but will keep looking.
The exterior has a beautiful patina only Mother Nature could create. It still has the original green paint and looks like it could have once been a Forest Service truck. Rust is extremely minor and confined to a tiny portion of the rear cab corners. Doors open and close solidly. Flat roll up window glass is cracked but the rest is good other than some delamination. Tires are old and cracked and should be considered rollers.
If you are a purist I'd be happy to include the split rims that were originally on it. And it also comes with a set of higher stake bed walls which install above and a sliding rear gate which installs behind for hauling farm animals if you want them.
My name is Chris and I am happy to answer your questions. Please call me at 435-669-1470. I also have almost 150 pictures that show every nook and cranny in great detail (including the undercarriage, split rims and extra stake bed walls and gate). Send or text me your email address and I'll get them to you. This very cool 1959 Ford F-250 stake bed ranch truck is located in the dry, desert community of Hurricane, Utah(about 125 miles north of Las Vegas). Good luck and good bidding.
