1963 Ford Falcon Futura Additional Info:
For sale is a 1963 Ford Falcon Futura Sprint clone. The Sprint was added in 63 1/2 and included a V8 engine and sport interior. It also received a larger rear end carrier and 5 lug wheels. This car has a freshly built 289 engine and a newly rebuilt C4 transmission and converter with less than 100 miles on them. The engine was bored .040 over and the heads were machined with hardened exhaust seats to enable use of unleaded gas. The only non stock modification was a Comp Cams x-treme energy 260 cam. The engine has new electronic ignition and a new carb as well as the usual rebuild items. The exhaust is new, as are the brakes. It has anew aluminum radiator. The tires have like new tread. The shocks have been replaced. The drivers side torque box and frame rail are new. Passenger side is fine. The top is very nice and is power assisted. The items that have not been attended to are the door weather stripping, seat foams and paint. Please feel free to call 309-645-6106 with any questions. Thanks, Rick.
