1958 Ford Country Sedan Wagon. V-8 (352 cc. Police Interceptor) CruiseOmatic Transmission. Power Steering.The Wagon shows very presentable. It is not a show car, it is a driver and a traveler. I purchased it from the third family owner from California in December 2023. The second owner, the son of the original owner, installed a new windshield and back glass. It was repainted in the same azure blue. As I understand it, the car, circa the 1990s, had an engine overhaul at 102,000 miles. [It now reads 146,000 miles]. after an accident with a garage gate that damaged the front right fender. To any connoisseur, it's clear it was a superficial body dent, nothing structural. As I inspected the wagon, I could see no internal twisted metal or repairs related to a crash or any other incident. It was repaired and color-matched with base/ clear coat. Excellent job. Everything works as intended, from the horn to the radio. It drives smoothly and comfortably. It has 4 [almost] new Michelin tires and new brakes. It stops even and fast. The transmission works perfectly. Since I own the Station wagon, I have done the following: Converted the engine from the old "down-draft" to a PCV system, and it has made a big difference in oil and gas odors. Installed a brand-new NOS heater core and a powder-coated overflow tank, and flushed and cleaned the whole cooling system. Installed a transmission cooling radiator because I installed a trailer hitch to pull a trailer. Converted the electrical system from a 12 V generator to an alternator, and purchased an AGM high-output battery. Installed 4 new shocks, with the back being air shocks to improve the trailer towing. Installed halogen headlight sealed beams, new cargo linoleum, and polished and waxed the whole car. The whole interior is clean without tears, with the exception of three minor strikes to the original headliner. All doors close and open smoothly and safely, with no rattling noises. There are no air drafts whatsoever. Depending on how it is parked on a side incline, it sometimes gets a rain leak. Since the car is garaged or under a carport at all times. I only get to see it when I am away from home.It breaks my heart to part with it, but life calls to other priorities. Thank you for watching. I will be adding more photos shortly
