1964 Ford F100 I am actively entertaining offers.
Vehicle Details
Up for sale is a highly desirable, incredibly hard-to-find 1964 Ford F100 Short Bed. If you know these classic Fords, you know the short beds are getting exceedingly rare and are highly sought after by collectors and hot-rodders alike.
This isn't a truck that’s been sitting in a barn for 30 years—this is a running, driving vehicle that fires up, shifts through the gears, and hits the road good. It is an excellent, solid foundation that is practically begging to be taken to the next level and fully restored.
Drivetrain & Mechanicals:
Engine: Original-style 292 cubic-inch V8. Runs great and has that classic Y-block rumble.
Transmission: 4-on-the-floor standard manual transmission. Shifts smoothly and makes this truck an absolute blast to drive.
Fuel System: Brand new fuel tank installed behind the seat.
Wheels & Tires: Upgraded with brand new black steely wheels, classic chrome center caps, and wrapped in fresh Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. The stance is perfect.
Body & Interior Condition (The Honest Truth):
I believe in being 100% open and honest with my listings. This truck is a survivor and largely original, but it is a project vehicle, and you need to know exactly what you are working with.
The Good: The green metallic paint shines up great from a distance and turns heads everywhere it goes. The glass is intact, the classic Ford grille is in great shape, and the black vinyl bench seat is comfortable and highly usable.
The Flaws: Because this truck deserves a proper, high-end restoration, it will need some metalwork and paint correction. The paint looks great from a distance, but the paint on the roof is flawed and will need to be corrected. There is rust present on the front drip rails/roof corners above the windshield. It does not leak! The interior floor pans also have heavy surface rust and some pin hole rust-through spots. Please review all photos closely, as they are a major part of the description and show exactly what you are getting!
Paperwork & Registration
(PLEASE READ):
This truck DOES NOT have a title. It is currently registered in my name in the state of Alabama and will be sold with a notarized Alabama Bill of Sale along with a copy of the current registration.
Please note: Alabama is a non-title state for vehicles older than 35 years. The state simply does not issue or maintain title records for vehicles of this vintage. The provided Bill of Sale and registration is the legal standard here and is typically all that is required to transfer ownership and register the truck in your home state. (Please verify your local DMV laws before bidding just to be sure!).
Summary:
This '64 Short Bed is a blank canvas. You can keep driving it exactly as it is as a cool, rough-around-the-edges weekend cruiser, or you can park it in the shop and do the full frame-off restoration it truly deserves. These 4-speed short beds do not pop up for sale often. Don't miss your chance to own a true piece of classic American truck history.
