Hello friends, we're excited and honored to present another low mileage survivor today. This 1994 F-150 XLT is just 1 of 280 painted Electric Currant Red with the 5.8 Liter 351, showing just 58,841 original miles. This is a gorgeous, gorgeous 2 wheel drive longbed pickup that gets attention EVERY time we've had it out.
Before diving into this incredible investment quality pickup, just a few reminders:
With a vast majority of our sales occurring out of state or country, sight unseen, we want folks to know we always welcome in-person inspections prior to sale. Although we go to great lengths to accurately represent all vehicles through our written descriptions, photos, and videos, we completely understand that differences in condition expectations can occur. All of our vehicles are sold as-is, without buybacks or refunds, so please don’t hesitate to make an appointment to personally inspect, or hire an independent inspector to look a vehicle over at our dealership. We greatly appreciate everyone’s support, and look forward to adding this vehicle to your collection soon. Lastly, please take a peek at our sales information after the 450+ photos below.
Buyers will receive a copy of the Wisconsin Buyers Guide shown in the last gallery photo. We require buyers to return signed copies of the Wisconsin Buyers Guide and Bill of Sale before we will release the vehicle to a buyer or shipping agent.
The Pickup
This beautiful '94 F150 was purchased new at Junge Ford in Center Point, Iowa and remained in the same family around Hazleton, IA until 2025. It had a topper on it when we purchased the truck earlier this year, and were told the truck was mostly used for camping and fishing trips over the year. We've added around 55 additional miles getting familiar with this pickup, and it currently sits at 58,840 original miles on its 351 V8. The included Deluxe Marti Report and Personalized Stats Report shows this is a much more scarce pickup truck than originally thought. Take a peek at the photos and videos below, but it appears it's just 1 of 280 351 trucks painted in Electric Current Red Metallic. Let's talk more about the paint...
The paint on this '94 has been professionally ceramic coated with CarPro's D-Quartz coating. Besides its incredible hydrophobic properties, the gloss on this paint is absolutely mind blowing. It sincerely looks like candy. At some point, the box of this truck appears to have been painted, although we wouldn't have noticed until we removed the topper. The paint match to the cab and tailgate is beautiful, and doesn't detract from the truck one bit. Trim and chrome on the truck is also quite nice, further reinforcing the story we were told about the truck being garaged since it was new. All Carlite original glass, including the windshield, is still intact as well. There are stone chips and light marks present, but we're hoping that the photos and videos demonstrate that they don't take away from this pickup's incredible condition. My goodness, even the inside of the box on this truck is still in fantastic condition after 32 years.
The interior continues the positive vibes that come with this F150. This truck hasn't been smoked in, and the interior still has that tell-tale '90s Ford interior smell. It's a time machine, lol! The cloth seat and carpet still look show-worthy, with any wear or flaws not worth noting. The dash is crack free and looks great, with just minor marks from what appears to be a cover of sorts that may have been on the dash. The leather steering wheel wrap shows a bit of wear up top, with the rest of the steering wheel, and instrument cluster looking terrific. Note that the previous owner installed a backup camera with screen that rests on the dash. We have not investigated how to use this camera, although it does power up.
The undercarriage has been treated to a coat of Boeshield T-9, a clear liquid waxy rust inhibitor, designed to preserve metal surfaces. We've had good experiences applying Boeshield to factory undercoated vehicles like this pickup, and thought this was a good choice to further protect the undercarriage for years to come without using spray paint or rubberized undercoating like we see so often applied.
We've really enjoyed driving this F150! We didn't like the road noise from the tires that were on it, so we opted for a set of 31" x 10.5" Cooper Discoverer AT3 rubber. We've put a little over 50 miles on the truck since adding the tires, and we're super pleased with them. The truck starts, idles, runs, shifts, and drives nicely. It accelerates well and brakes are good, too, as seen in the photos. Please see the Ride Along video below for additional details. Although the CarFax doesn't have many entries, it looks like the truck has been treated to new plugs & wires, a serpentine belt, and it looks like the water pump may have been replaced. We don't notice anything the truck needs immediately, but in the Undercarriage Video below, we noted the shocks are still original, and radius arm bushings are showing age. The previous owner said they replaced both power window motors. Both operate, but we have no receipts for the replacements. The air conditioning seems to work, but it's been chilly here in Wisconsin, and we're unable to tell if the system might need to be topped off.
This is one heck of an honest OBS F-150 that would stand tall in anyone's collection. EVERY time we've had this truck out, we've had questions about its excellent condition and glossy paint. Expect attention in this one! Please don't hesitate to call us at the phone number after the photos below; we're happy to help with anything we can.
