GT Fastback

Up for sale is a real 1966 mustang gt fastback. It has a gt350 paint scheme that is fair to poor in quality. It starts and drives and stops. I have a clean title.

It has a Gt40p engine and a t5 5 speed manual from a 1995 gt. Motor is strong but has an exhaust leak. I’ve been driving it around locally, but assume it needs everything.

Amateur restored class 3 gt is worth 37k so it is a good buy for someone. It is fairly complete but the interior is missing a few pieces, see pics.

The front axle disc brakes work fine. I know nothing of the rear drums. The front axle is a little squirrely I believe it needs alignment.

I’ve seen no evidence it has been wrecked, but it had some rust in the undercarriage that was reconstructed by an amateur welder. To me it seems structurally strong.

Number 2= exhaust hangers from the old original floor.

Number 3= original gt proportioning valve

Number 4= original disc brake parts.

Headlights work, blinkers work, tail lights work, defrost works, speedometer does not work, temp gauge works.
