I am selling this 1956 Ford Thunderbird I finished the restoration on. I bought it from a restoration shop in Wisconsin a while back that did the full body and paint with frame off restoration started. They started with a rust free all original sheet metal car. NO repair panels or patches. Floors and all body supports are original and look perfect as seen in photos. The engine was totally rebuilt by a reputable builder as well as the transmission and rear end. They were installed but never ran. The project went unfinished for years as the client couldn't follow through on his end, so the project was sold. That is where I came in. All the chrome was rechromed professionally. The wiring was all checked, cleaned and reused as it was in great condition. Seats were all redone as well as Dash. All lights work as well as gauges and horn. Disc brake conversion and Rebuilt P/S control valve and ram. New door panels and weatherstripping too. New gas tank and sender, new aluminum radiator but original shroud and fan. New Auto sound radio that works well. Power seat, power steering, A/T. The car is totally correct with all original body and drivetrain. No patch panels or bondo in it. How often do you find a 56 Thunderbird that is all original panels? Look at photos and you will see how clean and original it is.
The hardtop has new headliner, but the convertible top needs replaced. Frame and latches there but no material.Feel free to contact me with any questions you have.
