Customized 1972 Ford Ranchero Squire with numbers matching 429 V8

1972 Ford Ranchero Additional Info:

Up for auction is a customized one-year body style 1972 Ford Ranchero Squire with an original 429 V8 and automatic transmission with a very responsive shift kit that will not disappoint. Only 166 Rancheros came with the 429 V8 with a four-barrel carburetor. Press on the pedal and GO!

Per the included Marti report, the car was originally white but was repainted gold with ghost flames. The wood grain applique was removed and the original white vinyl top dyed black. A sunroof was installed. All of these changes were under prior ownership.

We removed the ginger interior including the bench seat and installed black bucket seats with center console and black flooring.

The original starter was replaced with a high torque starter along with a switch-controlled fuel pump in order to combat vapor lock. The combination works very well.

The undercarriage is VERY clean and appears to have not rust on the frame or underside of the body.

The tires are 235/60R14 BFGoodrich Radials mounted on Cragar S/S wheels.

Per the Marti report this is the only 1972 Ranchero Squire equipped with both the 429 and the Visibility Group.

The odometer reads just over 22,000 miles but true mileage is unknown.

The drivetrain is strong. The vehicle tracks well. The engine does not smoke.

The heater has been bypassed and the air conditioner compressor spins but does not produce cold air.

Always garaged during the winter. This auto is in above average condition throughout and always draws a crowd at shows.

This car is an investment in your fun quotient as well as your auto portfolio.
