This 1972 Ford Bronco wagon was purchased by the seller’s brother approximately 20 years ago and was parked for 13 years before I acquired it in 2025 and commissioned reconditioning that involved overhauling the drum brakes, servicing the fuel and coolant systems, installing an Edelbrock carburetor, and replacing starter, alternator belt, windshield, and tires. Power is provided by a 302ci V8 linked to a three-speed manual transmission, a dual range transfer case, a Dana 44 front axle, and a 9″ rear axle. The body wears faded brown paint and features a white removable hardtop, a swing-away tire carrier, and cut rear fenders with wheel-arch flares. Inside, a four-point roll bar accompanies gray front bucket seats, a parchment-trimmed rear seat, and a plastic center storage box. This Bronco wagon is said to have resided in California and Arizona under prior ownership, and it is now offered as a running project with a Deluxe Marti Report, service records and spare parts.
The truck left the factory finished in Sequoia Brown Metallic and features a removable hardtop, a receiver hitch, a swing-away tire carrier, and dual side mirrors. The truck has been modified with cut fenders and white rear wheel-arch flares, the windshield and seal were replaced in 2025. The paint is faded and chips, scratches, and dents are pictured in the gallery
The truck rides on a suspension lift along with 32×11.5″ Yokohama Geolandar M/T tires that were mounted on the 15″ slotted alloy wheels in 2025. A Skyjacker steering stabilizer is installed, and a replacement steering gearbox will accompany the truck. The drum brakes were overhauled in 2025 with replacement shoes, drums, wheel cylinders, hoses, and hardware.
The cabin features a four-point roll bar, low-back bucket seats trimmed in gray, and a rear bench trimmed in parchment vinyl. A plastic dry box is mounted between the front seats, and the carpeting has been removed. An aluminum plate has been affixed over corrosion in the passenger floor pan, and cracks in the dash pad are pictured in the gallery along with spots of rust and other blemishes.
The two-spoke steering wheel wears a rope-style wrap and frames a 100-mph speedometer encircled by auxiliary gauges for voltage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 79k miles, approximately 20 of which were added under current ownership.
The truck is equipped with a 302ci V8 that was serviced in 2025 with work that involved installing an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and replacing the fuel filter, fuel hoses, passenger-side engine mount, starter, spark plug wires, and alternator belt. The cooling system was serviced with a replacement thermostat, temperature sender, and hoses as well as a relay for the electric cooling fan.
Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels via a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck features a Dana 44 front axle and a 9″ rear axle with a limited-slip rear differential, and the rear pinion seal was replaced in 2025. The dual exhaust system has glasspack-style mufflers.
The Deluxe Marti Report lists factory equipment, colors, and production statistics, and indicates the truck was originally delivered to Canyon Ford in Phoenix, Arizona
