Owner’s Notes

“This 1973 Ford Gran Torino is a California car restored with a performance-focused build. The original 351C has been removed and replaced with a professionally built 460ci engine dyno’s at 750 HP. The motor features a Comp cam, ported heads, Harland Sharp roller rockers, Pro Comp aluminum intake, Holley 1050 Dominator carburetor, Hooker Super Comp headers, and Flowmaster mufflers. Cooling has been upgraded with a new 4-core aluminum radiator. Power is delivered through a C4 Performance automatic transmission with a race converter, manual reverse valve body, and a new drive shaft. The rear end is a Ford 9-inch with 3.50 gears, Moser 31-spline axles, and a Strange Engineering center section. Suspension includes new Aerojet shocks, Detroit Trutrac differential, and ladder bars. Brakes and frame have been completely stripped and reconditioned. Wheels are American Racing chrome-plated aluminum with drag race tires; P305/45-17 ET street drag radius on rear end. The body is in very good condition, and the paint shows well. There is some extra paint left over for the car as well. The interior is mostly new, done in a two-tone brown. The car has around 2,000 miles since the build, with many new parts throughout. Strong-running, well-built, and ready to cruise. There are a few flaws in paint on bottom quarter panel, and the power steering hose has a minor drip (very little).”
