You will not find a nicer original 68 year old truck than this one. Up for bid is a solid "FARM FRESH" 1948 FORD F68 ONE TON PICKUP IN COMPLETE ORIGINAL CONDITION(missing tailgate)serial vin # DF83H48-32444.The Ford F68 is the Canadian version(twin) to theAmerican built F3.The factory paint shows amazing witha beautiful aged patina. It has a four speed floor stick shift transmission and the brakes are presently inoperative. Engineis currently stuck from sitting, condition unknown.The hood springs had been taken off and come with the truck but hood must be propped up presently.Upper hood chromeneeds to bereattachedcomes with the truck. Obviously, due to sitting the wiring, lights, etc. will need to be gone over due to it sitting for many years.The body on the truck is EXCELLENT overall with very minor rust on lower passenger side cab and a small crack on right front fender.Underside is the cleanest I have ever seen. All glass except passenger door needs replacement and rear cab glass is presently missing.Box is very straight and wood floorboards are weathered badly.This pickup is solid overall withdings/dents,normal for any farm truck this old,and as I said earlier RUST FREE and in need of restore.
