NO RESERVE This is an opportunity to buy a ready to go, restored all steel Model A speedster with a race history. Built by Bud Pike in Ormond Beach, Florida, she was often seen racing on the beach in her original livery (see pix above) Bud passed and after much hemming and hawing it was decided to restore the girl - keeping her original but adding a few modern touches - like an electric switch operated fan, stainless steel and grade 8 hardware, 12 volt electric system, new gas tank, new paint, sand blasted and painted wheels, new wiring -. Car has a Florida title in my name and is registered as a Horseless Carriage. Why am I selling this piece of history you might ask-I just bought the "car of my dreams" a 1946 MG TC built on the date of by birth...and I cannot keep both (so I am told). My loss your gain. Car was on display at the Lake Mirror Concours (Lakeland, Florida) Saturday October 18 (she was a big hit ) she had been invited to display at The Living Legends of Auto Racing - Turkey Run, Daytona Raceway, Daytona Beach, FL November 27-30, and Gasparillo Concours in Tampa on December 6-unless you decide to buy the car and then you can display the car. Car fits in a 6x12' U-Haul open trailer and is conveniently located near Orlando airport.
