This 1971 Ford Ranchero GT was initially delivered to Holt Ford of Blairsville, Georgia, and underwent a cosmetic restoration under previous ownership. Power is from a 351ci Cleveland V8 paired with a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission, and the truck has been refinished in black with multi-color side and tailgate graphics. Equipment includes 15″ Magnum 500-style wheels, a black vinyl roof, power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, air conditioning, and a Kenwood stereo as well as a shaker-style hood scoop, a spray-in bedliner, and Flowmaster exhaust components.
The truck was special-ordered in black, and work performed in 2010 included refinishing the body in black, replacing the left side door, performing rust repairs to the right side quarter panel, removing dents, replacing the bed molding, and rechroming the bumpers. It has multi-color side and tailgate graphics, and other details include a shaker-style hood scoop, a black vinyl roof, hideaway headlamps, color-keyed racing mirrors, GT badges, a spray-in bedliner and dual exhaust outlets.
Magnum 500–style 15″ wheels wear Shelby-branded center caps and are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The truck was factory optioned with a heavy duty suspension, power steering, and power-assisted discs in front disc brakes.
The bench seat is upholstered in black vinyl and accompanied color-coordinated interior trim. An aftermarket center console is installed, and further appointments include air conditioning, shoulder belts, a glove box, and a Kenwood stereo.
