I picked this up a few years ago and put tons of money into repairs, maintenance, and a few upgrades. Pics are from when work was being performed. Rare paint code 51 was last year ford offered this color and this is the first year for this body style so in other words, 1987 is the only year BRicknose in Medium Dark Fire Red. This was used by a property manager most of its life and wasnt abused. I have paperwork from original owner and from the second owner (tons of it). Engine was taken out to replace all gaskets, oil seals, accessories, etc. This has the original 460 v8. The stock heads had a lot of exhaust studs/bolts busted off and rusted so I replaced them with a nice pair of rebuilt d3ve heads that had mild port work done on the exhaust side (thermactor bums removed) . New valves, springs, keepers. I may still have the old ones in the shop. I will include them if i can find them. The factory 1987 head gaskets looked amazing. 100's if not 1000's of photos of work performed during the service. All new ac system BLOWS COLD including evap core, steering gear, powermaster alternator and starter, Genuine HEI ignition was installed in a duraspark box to keep factory look (these photos are old I am testing the market with a cheap listing before getting carried away with listing and photos. Hedmann headers, new exhaust with borla resonators, gas tanks, brake master cylinder, pads, goodyear tires, bed rail caps, front and rear lenses, cooling system, Melling RV cam, springs, lifters, weiand intake, avs2 850cfm carb, I replaced just about everything of consequence or that may fail in the future to be safe. interior is excellent and was never smoked in. new weatherstrips, bluetooth stereo, speakers, etc. If you are seriously interested text or call me for more details. i will be happy to take recent pics and answer questions. Too many cars and this one doesnt get driven. I dont need to sell it so please no low ballers or offers to trade. It runs excellent and has tons of torque. Trans, 4x4, diff all excellent. I wasnt going cheap on the replacement parts. This is a good old truck with a 4:11 gear in the back. Would make an excellent horse car hauler or for heavy trailer towing. I replaced al; fluids but the trans fluid was cherry red when converter was drained. 4x4 works great. These pics are from last year or 2 so keep that in mind when looking. I can provide receipts for parts replaced and I will include the mound of service records that I got from prior owner who was pretty meticulous. When the original owner sold this truck, he posted an ad online many years ago. The second owner printed out that ad in the 90's and kept it with the service records for the truck (all of which I have).
