Vehicle Details

1940 Ford Deluxe coupe. Old hot rod that has been in storage for many years. In as-found condition. Ran when parked according to the estate. Small block Chevy V8, most likely a 283 or 327 2 barrel engine. Automatic transmisison, appears to be a Powerglide. Olds rear with parellel leaf springs. Stock front axle and suspension with original sway bar, tube shocks and disc brakes. Running condition unknown but engine turns over freely by hand.

Body has had some floor repairs. Rear fenders are flared. Dashboard is complete and all garnish moldings are present. Excellent louvered hold. Excellent stainless side trim. Very nice grill.

This would make a great survivor style old hot rod or an excellent start to a complete build up in traditional or street rod style
