1993 Ford Ranger Additional Info:

This 1993 Ford Ranger is a reliable and well-maintained vehicle that has had one owner for the past year. The teal color and clean title make it a desirable choice for potential buyers. With 53,000 miles on the odometer this is a 5 digit odometer and I purchased it as a ‘farm’ truck, but I have done some work on it. I have not touched the engine, so a tune up would probably yield better efficiency, but it has 8 spark plugs BUT it is a 4 cylinder engine. With the 5 speed transmission it will go 75 mph on the turnpike no problem. I think I have put maybe a couple of quarts of oil in during the last year. Being 32 years old it probably leaked that out - I don’t think it smokes…it would have used a lot more oil. There is a Dual radio/streaming system that will stay, although the volume is controllable with a smartphone, the dial string is loose….touching it will make it worse, so unless you’re qualified to tear it down, leave it alone or replace it….. New inner and outer tie rods and an alignment,New shocks and cold A/C plus a new seat, New headlights, key cylinder and lock cylinders, and a lockable toolbox. Cast aluminum wheels and a New gas tank filler neck - known problem area and a new muffler, but still pretty noisy…wind noise and possibly exhaust manifolds. See below, I have done my part and now it’s someone else’s classic to do or not and just drive. This Ranger is a practical daily driver that runs smoothly and efficiently. Needs a link rod for the passenger door lock cylinder to unlock, it will lock fine now from the inside. Could benefit from a headliner and some additional TLC but I have other projects. Asking $2500 OBO

Hand crank windows, Cold A/C, great heat and 32 years old, it’s ugly but reliable. This is a 5 speed Manual….not an automatic transmission !!!
