1930 Ford Vicky Hiboy Hot Rod Additional Info:

Starting with a Henry Ford steel Victoria body this was just the start of a Hiboy non-fendered Hot Rod build. The Model A frame was partially boxed and a set of '32 Ford rear frame rails were grafted onto the frame to accommodate the Vintique '32 Ford gas tank. '32 Ford grille shell and insert. Front suspension is all custom made with tubular a-arms and coil over shocks. Four bar rear suspension attached to an 8" Ford rear end assembly with coil overs. It rides on 185/60/15 Xtra Trac II radials in front and 265/70/16 General Tire steel radials in the rear, all mounted on polished American Racing aluminum wheels with 3-bar knock-offs. Rack and Pinion steering. 4 wheel disc brakes brings this Hot Rod to a stop.

Power comes from a 2002 LS 2 Chevrolet V8 putting out 420 h.p. A Tremec 6 speed manual transmission is mated to the Ford 8" rear end. Electric fan cools down the 4" core Walker radiator. Optima battery is set in the rear 'passenger' compartment and incorporates a kill switch. Baffled exhaust quiets the headers....somewhat......

The interior is set up with Speedway Aircraft style aluminum bucket seats. Power windows. (Passenger side doesn't work). Flaming River tilt column rotated to make the column a 'tilt away' side to side to help with entry. Can be rotated to usual tilt position though. Banjo style steering wheel. Stock garnish molding front and rear. Mix of Stewart Warner and Autometer gauges in the custom dash. Floor is heavy Oak plank with an access panel to the master cylinder.
