1968 Ford Thunderbird Additional Info:
68' Ford T-Bird, big block-429 Thunderjet. $8900 OBO. 84000 actual miles. Title on hand. Great mechanical shape. 99% original parts, suicide door, swinging away steering wheel, dual exhaust, electric windows and driver seat (leather). Runs and drives perfectly. Huge, comfortable car, perfect for old-timers enthusiasts. Registered and insured.1968 Thunderbird 4 door Landau, with Brougham package. The right exhaust manifold replaced with a new/improved design. While undergoing the replacement, the engine was rebuilt, including new timing chain, water pump, steering gear box, p/s pump, all new hoses, & belts. Original radiator re-cored too. New shocks & springs, front & rear.
This Tbird has many factory options including the overhead console & automatic "swing away" tilt steering wheel. It does not have factory AC...The pneumatic door lock system was replaced with an electric locking system, including power trunk opener, 2 remote fobs are included. The original clock still keeps perfect time. Very goodcondition considering her age, not too many of them in this shape are out there...
Bad: front seats upholstery and driver side armrest upholstery, some rust spots on a fender but mainly under vinyl top- nothing major but has to be addressed ( not a rust bucket), paint chipped away in one place under windshield, head light switch sometimes loses connectivity, front passenger window motor has to be replaced (i have a new one, will give it to buyer). I have also brand new vinyl top for the buyer (free of charge). I don't have a time to adore, enjoy and taking care of her anymore (frequently deployed).
Make me an offer! Worst case scenario I'll say no...
