1936 Ford 5W Hot Rod Coupe Additional Info:

This '36 Ford 5W Coupe was under construction when the previous owner unfortunately passed away. Literally 90% done, very little to finishing this little Hot Rod. Built from the ground up, not a cosmetic built but one to keep and drive. Started with an all Henry Ford steel Coupe. The history of the Coupe is vague due to the owner having passed away. Converted to suicide doors. Stock height roof, filled roof but not chopped. One piece Hageman hood top with beautiful original side trim. Beautiful Grille Art Inc. $4,000 grille, original steel fenders front and rear. Floors are all good. Original headlights, Cadillac taillights have been mounted flush into the stock steel rear fenders. Front turn signals are hidden behind where the stock horn grilles are to be mounted. Trunk lid opens and closes by means of an electric 'screw jack' operated by a rocker switch mounted on the rear inside trim panel behind the driver's seat. The lid is supported by a pair of gas shocks. Tanks Inc. steel gas tank. Boyd's aluminum wheels front and rear, included are the screw-on center caps. 225/50 R16 Nitto NT450 radials in front, 275/50 R-17 radials in the rear. Every inch was 'massaged' to make sure the GM 'Magnetic Red' PPG paint looked like a mirror. Very straight 5W Coupe!

The interior needs to be finished, it was being done in white and off-white vinyl and cloth. The bottoms of the bucket seats have the covers ready to be installed using new foam, backs of the seats need to be finished. Kick panels and armrests are done, no door panels. Late model power bucket seats with three point safety harness and seat belts. Vintage Air A/C. Flaming river tilt column, Billet Specialties '3 spoke' style steering wheel. Customized steel dash with a full compliment of Digital gauges. Custom made center console opens to reveal the headlight switch, Vintage Air A/C controls, ignition switch and the door poppers. B&M Quicksilver shifter. Trunk area upholstery is completely finished. Front windshield is a fixed one-piece tinted glass. Both doors have electric window regulators and door poppers. Correct 5W garnish mouldings are in the trunk, quarter moulding are intact. Rear window is fixed, it does not roll up and down. Press-to-open gas door on the drivers side next to the trunk lid. Fold down rear license plate holder. The trunk holds boxes of interior and other parts for the Coupe including the center caps for the wheels.

This Coupe will be moving down the road with a new, never started crate GM ZZ4 350 cu. in. 300 horsepower V8. Holley carburetor with center pivot float bowls feeds the ZZ4. March serpentine front pulley system. Beautiful polished ball milled aluminum valve covers, B&M dual snorkel polished air cleaner. MSD ignition. Sanderson block hugger headers hooked to a full custom stainless steel dual exhaust system that exits out the rear under the bumper. Walker hi-flow radiator. Original '36 chassis, tubular a-arm independent front suspension with coil-over shocks, Flaming River power Rack and Pinion steering. Power goes to the 4 bar Currie 9" Ford rear end thru a 200R automatic transmission rebuilt by Art Carr. Coil-over shocks suspend the rear end. Wilwood power disc brakes front and rear. Master anode positive and negative posts mounted on the frame on the passenger side in front of the rear tire. Spal electric fan. The engine compartment is a work of art as is the undercarriage.
