1963 Ford Galaxie Additional Info:
Up for sale is my 1963 Ford Galaxy XL 500. I bought this car several years ago from an estate. I have put a lot of work into it to make it more as a daily driver. It is very roadworthy, Runs down the road excellent. Itis a true pleasure to drive this car and has Under 54000 miles.
The engine a 427 sideoiler was recently rebuilt by Mcgunegill Engine Performance in Muncie Indiana. Duane and his crew are one of the top engine builders in the country. Also one of the best Ford engine builders in the country. This was done in late 2022. The engine was also rebuilt by Holbrook race engines in Livonia, Michigan back in 2005. .
While the engine was being freshened up. The car has a C6 automatic transmission so I had the transmission rebuilt and it also has a part number 441100 TCI torque converter.
I had the door panels off to work on the window tracks, as you can see; there is no rust on the inside of the doors. The car is very rust free. I do have the factory stock hood. It matches the original paint on the car and is in very good condition.On the brakes I put a part number 140-13653 Wilwood disc brake conversion for the front from drums brakes on the front to disk. The rear is drum brakes.
New gas tank
I also put a radio system FM radio in.
Patriot exhaust electric cutouts that work off of a key fob.
The car went to Cincinnati to professional gentleman that wires cars and he used American auto wire system and wired.
A total rewiring was completed. Everything is new and everything worksas it should. Wipers, heater, lights so on.
Installed an Ididit steering column with tilt wheel and new aftermarket steering wheel.
New power master performance alternator one wire
Installed a Lokar performance products Automatic shifter. Installed an electric line lock. Installed a Dakota digital VHX gauge system Installed a Borgeson power steering box and system with hoses and power steering pump.New Leed power brake master cylinder, booster, distribution block with brake light indicator and adjuster for rear brakes.New American Racing wheels 17 x 7 front 17 x 8 rear and new tiresMSD ready to run distributor and plug wires.
Interior is in very good condition
With no hesitation the car starts right up. Runs Great.
