1965 Ford Mustang Additional Info:

For sale is my 1965 Mustang convertible. This is a nice project car for over the winter.Simply put, the front is done and back half is done, it's the middle section of the car that needs to be done. I just don't have the time to work on it, so I am selling it . I bought it from someone who had it in the barn for about 30 year and worked on it early on but not much lately- The Good:- New NOS rear quarters on both sides. new trunk floor and drops and rear frames, new gas tank and fuel and brake lines. so the back end of the car is done. The front frame is solid as well as the aprons. I think both Apron VINs are there. The engine was redone at some point a few years ago, along with the automatic transmission. but I have not had it running. The new owner should be able to get the engine running with not a ton of work. The 289 2bbl engine and C-4 look to be the original powertrain that came on the car from the factory.I have over 95 % of all the parts, most are nice original some are new parts. all the trim is on the outside of the car a still in nice condition, just dusty. The not so Good:The middle part of the still needs to be done. like the floors, the floor look ok from on top, but not underneath. The seat boxes need replacing, so do the front torque boxes, most of the floor pans and the inner rockers need replacing and well as new floor supports. The doors do not fit tight because that center sections need to be done. The front fenders and doors should be fine . one of the door has some rust on the bottom and could be an easy fix. the doors are not the original doors, but are OEM. Glass is good. the rear seat is missing. Of-course it need a new interior and convertible top material. I took some pics of the parts that go with the car, but I will gather up everything on box it all upLet me know if you have any questions before the end of the auction. Once the auction is over, I need a $200 deposit and paid in full before picking it up or paid in cash when you pick it up, The car rolls and steers fine. The car is a great project. there is still a lot to be done, but a lot has already been done. It is the original v-8 c-code convertible that buyers are demanding so it is a good investment. I wish it was cherry done convertible ready to drive, but it is what it is. send me any questions, I have more picturesI set a very low reserve, but I did set one because I have to be half way safe on this high demand vintage classic even if it is a project car. Please don't ask what the reserve is, just bid away. Thanks for looking and bidding.I can help load it up, and it is full up to the buyer to set up and pay for transportation
