This is a fast and every day driver, no i never beat or raced it nor do i know what it does on the quarter mile and or exact HP. Adult owned and driven. within the last month was driven to FL and back with no issues on a trip, does not use or burn any fluids or oils, everything is presentable and working on this car. I could part this car out for way more then my asking price!
1992 Ford Mustang GT. I have purchased from owner of this car for the past 15 years and it has been garage kept. The car has 130k miles on the body, but the entire drivetrain was replaced. The new drivetrain was professionally installed and dynotuned to about 450rwhp. All drivetrain and components were purchased new, are still in good working order, and do not need to be replaced. Here is the list of new parts and modifications. brand new inspection 9/16! currently tagged as a classic as well. Never abused or raced. adult owned: age 55
Ford Racing crate engine with GT40X aluminum heads and E303 camshaft. Ford GT40 upper/lower intake with phenolic spacer (new intake gaskets installed in 2013). Ford Racing valve covers. MAC shorty exhaust manifolds with MAC off-road H-pipe and MAC mufflers. Vortech Supercharger with boost retard controller. BBK 70MM throttle body (installed a few years ago) with EGR delete plate (new TPS sensor installed in 2013). Pro-M Mass Air Flow Sensor. Powermaster Alternator (cant remember the amp rating). Adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Ford Racing 42lb fuel injectors. Ford radiator and new clutch fan. Ford water pump. MSD distributor and coil (installed a few years ago). MSD Digital 6AL ignition box (installed in 2013). Ford Raciging spark plug wires (installed a few years ago). BBK 255lph in-tank fuel pump (installed in 2012). SFI approved blowproof bellhousing. Heavy duty clutch (I believe it is a RAM clutch, but I cant remember for sure). Adjustable clutch cable and aluminum clutch quadrant. New Ford Flywheel. Tremec TKO 3550 5-speed manual transmission. New speedometer gear. Pro-5.0 shifter. Ford Racing aluminum driveshaft. Ford Racing heavy duty rear assembly with 3.55 final drive gears. New Ford rear brake shoes. Cross-drilled and slotted front brake rotors with Hawk brake pads. Ford Motorsport lowering springs and new shocks. Weld-on subframe connectors. Caster/camber adjuster plates. Energy brand engine and transmission mounts. Air conditioning system delete with P/S pump relocation bracket. Air pump delete with aluminum idler pulley. BF Goodrich KDWS tires. Cobra R antenna delete plate. LX taillights. New hatch struts. Stant locking gas cap. New Ford factory instrument cluster lens. New Ford factory shift knob with Scott Drake leather shift boot. Many various seals and bushings have been replace with either Ford factory components of Energy brand components. Car comes with the original antenna, factory Ford radio/tape deck, original GT taillights, spare tire (never used) and jack, original factory sunroof bag, original factory rear compartment sunshade, owners manual and keys, and all factory emissions equipment and various factory brackets, air induction tube, and air box. Car also comes with the original 5.0 emblems, new Ford 5.0 emblems, and new Ford door hinge pins and bushings.
The new drivetrain has approximately 4000 miles on it. This car is in excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically. It is reliable and can be driven anywhere. The body of the car is completely free of rust and the interior is in outstanding condition. The paint is original and is in good condition. There are a few scratches and a few small dings here and there that are common with a car of this age, but overall the exterior is excellent. The small plastic plastic lower trim panels behind the rear wheels should be repainted to match the rest of the trim. The doors need new hinge pins and bushings installed (Ford pins and bushings come with the car). Overall, this car is in excellent condition. It is truly one of the nicest foxbody Mustangs around. The car still maintains a nearly stock appearance, but has upgraded power and handling capability. Its drives great and can be enjoyed immediately after it is purchased. It can be driven anywhere and anytime with the confidence in its reliablity and functions. This car is available for sale and price is firm. Please come and look at this car if you are interested.
