1966 Ford Mustang Fastback GT 5 Speed Ivy Green/Black

1966 Ford Mustang Additional Info:

Originally a 4 speed A Code, this Fastback was fully restored by Ken Porter and sold at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale in 1995. The 289 V8 engine was rebuilt, ported and polished to 313 cu. ft. with racing cams and roller rockers. It has Koni adjustable shocks and performance springs. The car sits 1” lower than the factory height.

Under my ownership since 2008, it has been maintained by the master mechanic Steve Beck, the owner of Checkpoint Automotive. He is the vice president of Los Angeles Shelby American Club.

In 2013, the original 4 speed transmission was replaced with a new Ford Racing T5 transmission. The clutch was replaced and rear differentials were rebuilt at the same time. The car runs with tremendous power and shifts smoothly with short throws.

The Ivy Green paint (originally gold) shines well with no rust. All chromes and rubbers have been preserved well. Interior including headliners are in excellent condition. Undercarriage is clean. Comes with extremely rare original Moto-Lita wood steering wheel.
