1934 Ford Deluxe sleeper, ultra rare side mount and potters trunk! Ready to drive home, needs nothing.Bought from previous owner which had it for 20+/- years. Except for the main photo, the rest of the pics were taken Feb 26-27, 2024.All metal, including four fenders, running boards and trunk. Added 1934 side mount spare, for looks, different bolt pattern than car. I modified the trunk floor to fit a compact spare, which will bolt onto car. A custom fit California car cover is also included.Mustang II front end, manual rack, disc/drum brakesV-8 Ford 289, C-4 combo. Runs fine on non ethanol 91 octane, but prefers 93. Very strong built, 10:1 compression, mild cam, little shift kick out of first. Mileage shows 20k since rod was built, odometer seems to work, but speedo needle works sporadic. This engine was built and installed several years after initial build. Custom ordered Currie 9" rear, 3.00:1, have receipt, June 2012. Fuel gauge works, but shows wired in reverse. You can look inside stainless tank and see fuel level.Runs normal temp with the manual fan, but also has an on demand electric fan. Only needs the electric fan for slow traffic or warm weather. The 2x4s behave well, I have also used for local errands. Driven on several round trip, overnight out of town cruises. This car is driven regular, rarely rests more than two weeks between exercise on nice days.Dash is painted metal. Instrument cluster panel, center panel, and OEM glove box door painted wood grain. Power windows, doors only, driver side glass cracked. Rear and quarter windows sealed in position, non opening. Heater/ defrost work great, AC hoses no longer present. Wipers do work, but I only drive in nice weather, so I put the arms aside. Doors lock from outside with a key. Sharp eyed Ford fans will notice tail light stands are from a Vicky, a mild custom touch. I am including a polished single carb intake that was on it at one time,(before me) and a brand new, in the box 650 Edelbrock, with electric choke. My favorite feature about this car, it's a low tech, old school hot rod. Anyone with hand tools can work on it. You don't need a computer. I did replace the chrome 1-wire alternator Feb 2024.
