Here's the story on this car. For about two years I have been ‘salvaging’ it back from a vandalism. I bought it from CoPart Auction. I am a retired mechanical engineer, and have been working on cars basically my whole life. It has been safety inspected by Colorado State Patrol, and has a Rebuilt-from-Salvage, Colorado Title - as a 1932 Ford Coupe, and Classic CO license plates. There was malicious mischief in the form of spray paint, bad words, scratches, screwdriver punched holes, broken windows, broken gages, and box-cutter slashed interior. Most of it is back to or better than new. It’s a blank canvas, and with minor work it will be worth way more than the asking price. Everything I have done is a betterment to what it started out as. There are a few things left to do, and a whole universe of opportunities. It runs and drives good and is suitable and popular for the neighborhood and city-wide car shows. We've taken 50-mile drives and it does fine.

It has an aluminum Radiator, and there is no overheating. It’s a little loud, but it does not drone, in fact it sounds Great! It has a seat from a (modern) VW bug (front wheel drive), the back seat, and headrests. The seat fits fine but needs new seat covers because they are slashed. The headliner and door panels have been slashed, but easy to fix. There is carpet, but no interior sound insulation or seat belts. The interior is all finished out but needs to be re-done.

It has a nice chrome oil pan, polished Weland intake manifold and polished aluminum water pump. The Holley Sniper Fuel Injection and new Sniper distributor. It works perfect every time, each start, hot or cold. The front suspension is tubular upper and lower A-arms with rack and pinion steering. Tilt column and an OG Moon wooden steering wheel. The rear has ladder bars and a Panhard bar. It rides, handles, and corners very well. It sounds like a sprint car and there’s a lot of nice parts. Its very light weight and really goes, no smoke.

I have before and after pictures of all the damages and repairs. All the fiberglass has full integrity and is easy to repair (no repairs are necessary), but most importantly: no rust. It is painted with professional-grade white primer. I have a notebook with all the receipts. I’ve had fun fixing it and driving it, and it is time to pass it on, I need the space in my garage for another project. It locks up securely, the trunk locks, it has a ‘secret’ button for entry, and has a proper battery disconnect.
