1940 ford pickup project.

Vehicle Details

1940 ford pickup project. Does not run. Engine turns but needs to be rebuilt due to low compression. Has Fenton headers, power master starter, petronix igniter in the distributor and petronix coil. 3 speed manual in unknown condition.

Body is solid,Texas truck it’s whole life. Has a hand full of pinholes, but nothing more than that. Had a small metal patch in driver door and a small patch in each of the back fenders. Has what appears to be a new brake system with disks in the front/ drums in the rear and an adjustable proportioning valve. The pedal feels like the brakes are bled, but I’ve never driven it to know for sure. Suspension is lowered by way of shorter shackles. It has split wishbones in the front. Currently has no shocks on it.

Has an earlier ford banjo steering wheel.

Truck was off the frame. Frame has been sandblasted and painted. Outside of body was sandblasted and epoxy primed.

Windshield is new and I have new door glass with new channels and fuzzies not installed. Regulators go up and down. New rear glass too, but no rubber.
