This 1968 Ford Mustang coupe was purchased by the seller out of California in 2001, and it was later converted for use in Historic Sportscar Racing events and track duty. Power is provided by a custom-built 306ci V8 linked to a Toploader four-speed manual transmission and a Detroit Locker differential. The car is finished in Guardsman Blue, and additional equipment includes fiberglass bodywork, flared wheel arches, Integra Racing shocks, four-wheel disc brakes, and 15″ American Racing wheels as well as a chromoly steel roll cage, a Hurst shifter, an ATL fuel cell, and a fire-suppression system. This Mustang race car is now offered with a second exhaust system equipped with a muffler, spare parts, spare wheels, literature.
