1956 ford truck Big Window

1956 Ford F-100 Additional Info:

This is a 1956 Ford F-100 Big Window Ford O Matic Project Truck short bed does have Y-Block engine and Auto tranny Please look at all pics and I will describe to the best of my knowledge. Matching Vin tag with Title and chassis. Vin tag show matching color code and auto

Been parked since 1968!!! I recently picked up from I believe original owner family member (I have clean ca title from 1968), as you can see in pics this is old 60’s 70’s build has some mods done from back then frenched antenna, Frenched front parking lights, 1948 Lincon Taillights, extended rear lower bed pan. They filled quit a few of the emblems and door mirror holes they were not using them I will include the hood side emblems and door custom cab emblems and a set of mirrors. There are some rust issues from sitting in a field for so long but still a nice 56 BW to build.

Body- I’ll start with the Cab; this is an Original BW with all the SS Trim. Good Rear glass and door glass good!! front is cracked. Cab has solid floors rust areas are - roof, lt rear cab corner, rt door has large dent and a rust spot on inside by door hinge, Rt door lower rust and of course the hood. The Sheet metal on the truck is straight not perfect will need some work. Grille, bumpers do have surface rust but not dented but chrome peeling. All inside window and door cranks are need of replacement. Trucks sheet metal looks to be complete from what I can tell.

Engine – Truck does have a Y-Block, but it looks the original 272 was changed with a Car 292 with a ford O Matic, I DO NOT know the condition of the engine and tranny I did not mess with it just clean as best as I could from sitting all those years it was somewhat dirty!

Chassis – Stock original chassis with stock wheels does steer but No brakes.
