I have this VERY CLEAN 8.8 out of 10, 1992 Ford Mustang Silver Notch for sale! I've only had one cleaner then this, my last 1992 Black Notch with 100% Original paint I found way out in Washington State. It's in the last picture. I wish I never sold that car. It's been about 3 years since I sold it, and I have been looking for one almost as clean, and HERE IT IS. With exception for not being OriginalPaint, ALL vin Tags are in place where they should be. Anyhow, this is almost as nice, and has something my other 92 didn't have- A Freshly Built 331ci Stroker Engine "with appropriate parts to add boost" & also has a Rebuilt 5 Speed Manual Transmission. And full "LMR" Front & Back Seats and "LMR" Door Panels "cards." Brand New Flaming River Power Steering Rack, Left & Right Tie Rods, Steeda Double Adjustable Clutch Cable and Quadrant, Newer set of 17" 5 Star Alloy Rims and Tires, a BIG $$ 1993 Cobra ECU for extra Tunability, Undercarriageis Super Clean with No rust at all, not even any surface rust Body is extremely straight. ALL panels line up perfectly! The paint & Clearcoat is in Excellent Condition. Some of the picture look like the clearcoat is messed up, but it's NOT. IT IS JUST THE REFLECTION of the Clouds in the sky. The paint is a 9 out of 10, and has No Waves at all when you look down the sides! No orange peel, No waves, No Dry spots, No OxidationNo Ripples, No Swirls, No Hard Water Spots,No Dents, No door Dings. I could NOT detect ANY BONDO or Body-Filler anywhere. Looks almost as good as a factory paint job! It's Definity, a head Turner. If I'm at a light & someone pulls next to me, 70% of the Time people will say what a Beautiful Mustang! or Beautiful Notch! Car runs Excellent. Plenty of power for a N/A car. 400hp/450tq. Has a 1993 Cobra Computer, so it is definitely more tunable."Significant Detailed Porting" was done. BIG VALVE 190/210Ported Heads, as well asPort Matched Heads to Cobra Intake. Ford Racing E303 Camshaft and Lifter Kit, Pro-Pac with 1.6 Rockers.Cobra Front Calipers & Brakes. NO oil or Coolant leaks of any kind, ANYWHERE. 100% Rust Free South-West IL. car. NOT looking for trades of any kind. Just cash only. Best REASONABLE Cash offer of $20k or more will take it home. I will not and cannot take less than $20k for this SWEET Notch. If you think it's too much money, that's fine, keep it to yourself and go buy another one. I've had many Mustangs since my 1st one. My 1st car was a 1967 Mustang GT. way back in 1981! I've owned, worked on, and built "MANY" since 1981 and know them very well, And this one is Sweet! Notches in this Condition are almost impossible to find in this shape anywhere in the USA. Many have been dedicatedRace Cars, MANY have had at least one body panel hit, Many were Crashed, Cut-Up, Or Damaged in some way, shape or form. 80% of the ones I've looked at over the years have 1 or BOTH front fender tags missing. That usually means serious front end damage if both are missing. The short block has a FORGED eagle rotating assembly that wasoriginallybuilt for BOOST as Compression Ratio is 9.8:1.. Turbo, Blower, or Pro-Charger. Or you could take the cheapest route and go with a NOS Kit. It's the Cheapest H.P. you can buy. Or you can just leave it as is. I currently drive it the way it is and actually love it! But if you wanted, maybe throw an E85 tune on it and Run a MSD Box and you'd be all set. "Significant Detailed Porting" was done. BIG VALVE 190/210Ported Heads, as well asPort Matched Heads to Cobra Intake. Ford Racing E303 Camshaft and Lifter Kit, Pro-Pac with 1.6 Rockers.AS far as the rear diff, it is an 8.8" and was rebuilt and the gearing is 4:10. The Transmission is a close ratio Tranny, and "short throw" as the gears are close together, and a short distance to next gear. I don't know exactly what type of tranny it is, honestly? Twin Disk McLeod clutch with a new pressure plate, & throw-out bearing was also installed at the time. I know the Guy I bought it from bought a lot of parts from LMR, Summit, & Jegs, per: his G.F. complaining about all the Money & Time he spent on this car. I wish I knew more but I don't. I'm probably forgetting a few things, but when they come to me I will post. I had AAA all set up for the flat-bed to take this car home, but they blew me off. I had no choice but to drive the car home 3.5 Hours away. So obviouslyI went through the Car again & checked Oil and Coolantlevel before I had to drive it 200+ Miles back Home. I was there the day before for hours checking the car out in the day-time. But now it was the next day and night-time around 10:00pm. About 1/2 way home I started to smell a faint scent of plastic burning and realized when I pulled over @ the closest and next rest area, I noticed the Speedo Cable resting against the left header which was at this point pretty crispy. I didn't have any Aluminum Zip Ties with me to tie it back, so unfortunately I had to continue my way back home with the car. Other than that, it was a flawless trip home & the Car ran Strong all the way home. The time I arrived home the cable was toast. I have since bought a new speedo cable that will go with the sale also. If I have the time I will install it, if not it will go with the car and be left in the trunk. I've done quite a bit of work and about $2,800 of parts for this car since I bought it. The car runs @ 160` in 90 degree weather sitting in traffic, and 150` wile cruising.Oil pressure is 90lbs @ start-up, & 60lbs Warm idle. I seriously doubt this car has flipped mileage, it's just way too clean to have 186k on it. And the ONLY Reason why I'm selling this Mustang and a few other Cars and Trucks is because I'm moving next spring and wont have the room for all my Cars and Trucks, so time to get rid of some of the toys and downsize. Price is Firm @ $20k. Sorry, but it's worth every Dollar."JUST PASSED NY. STATE INSPECTION and EMMISIONS" YES I HAVE CLEAN "non branded" TITLE IN HAND!AUTO CHECK is INCORRECT! Car DID NOT have 12 Owners! OMG. There were 5 Previous Owners before me. "FIVE." I have only owned it a short period & never registered it, as I just put my Repair Plate on it when I take it out. Auto Check kept ADDING owners every time Registration was renewed! Most ALL cars with only a 5 Digit Odometer the DMV almost all the time will put down Milage "UNKNOWN" Discrepancybecause in theory they don't know for sure it's true milage. But they would of if they actually LOOKED and saw that it was in line with the registration renewals. This has happed on a few of my other cars as well depending on the State which it was registered. Car was just RECENTLY Safety Inspected & Emission Tested and passed BOTH on 3/24/2023.
