Hello.. Up for bid is a Beautiful 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 429CID Cobra Jet Ram Air!! Yes, This is the real deal factory J-Code 429CJ car with the factory underrated 370 Horsepower / 450 tq! It has 32,000 miles that is documented on the title. It runs and sounds great with a lot of power! It drives out straight and rides smooth down the road. It stop great, tires are older but still usuable, exhaust has an awesome rumble - video does no justice! This is what i would consider a survivor time capsule car with one repaint. It is a factory Grabber Green car. The paint was redone over 10 years ago and still shines great and is a nice driver quality. You can still take it to shows and be proud but there is some small blemishes as expected noticeable up close. The body is straight, it appears that some filler was used in the body work as most do. The chrome and trim is all in nice shape, glass is in nice original shape, some of the seals are older. It has an older set of Magnum 500 wheels with spinner caps - very cool! Overall this car is not a perfect trailer queen, it is a nice driver quality you can enjoy! The interior looks all original to me, with exception of newer floor mats and maybe a carpet replacement. The dash has no cracks, seats have some age related wear but still present well, door panels and headliner also looks nice. The engine compartment shows good, it is a rare factory air conditioning car. The a.c will need service or recharge but it all looks there- it has not been used in years. The ram air system on the hood was removed by the previous owner, they are easily found new. It was converted to auto (now the wife can drive it too!) The fuel gauge needs looked at, sometimes it stops working. Rest of gauges and lights seem to work good. It has full gauge package with factory tach. Bucket seats with console as well. I dont think you will find another 71 429CJ for sale - they rarely pop up! I described known flaws to best of my ability, this is a really nice looking car that you can get in and have fun with! It gets a lot of attention and compliments everywhere it goes. Please view all pictures and video of the car!
