Original Shelby Tag and Stamps

You are looking at an original 1967 Shelby GT350 finished in factory Wimbledon White and a factory 4 speed. The 1967 Shelby Mustangs are iconic in every way and are continuing to exceed the test of time not only in style and performance, but as well as value. A Concours example of a 67 GT350 now exceeds $250,000.00.

The 1967 Shelby GT350s were the last true 289 HIPO Shelbys and were the last true cars built at the Shelby American LAX facility.

This 1967 GT350, #2946, was built June 6th 1967. Originally sold to Yates Stevens Ford in Kirkwood, MO. It’s a factory Wimbledon white 4 speed, optioned with factory 10 spoke aluminum wheels, power steering, and power disc brakes. Factory black deluxe interior with 140mph speedometer and 8k tachometer.

This car has its original Shelby VIN tag, original Shelby stamp, and Ford VIN stamp.

Now lets breakdown this car.

Drivetrain:

289 HIPO engine. HIPO Heads, Cobra Intake, S2MS Lemans style carburetor, Cobra Valve Covers, HIPO balancer and HIPO fan. Transmission is original and has the patrial VIN stamp. The car has a hurst shifter, headers and 9” factory rearend. This car runs and drives excellent. The engine is very strong and pulls hard. The transmission shifts great and has no issues. The car is turn key ready to enjoy. Click the Video link above.

Interior:

Black deluxe interior. 140mph speedometer and 8k tachometer. Shelby gauge pod under the radio for oil pressure and AMP meter. Factory rollbar with shoulder harnesses and Cobra seatbelts. Deluxe seats with fiberglass backs in great condition. Sport deck rear seat (folddown).

Body and Paint:

The body on this car is very nice and straight. The car spent all of its life in California so its very dry. Nice gaps all the way around, and all hinging panels open and shut great. Factory fiberglass parts. The paint on the car is overall very nice. Excellent driver, not a concours show car but could certainly be taken to that level. See picture link above and video link above as they also act as body and paint description.

Overall this is a true 1967 Shelby GT350 that you can drive and enjoy without paying concours type money allowing you to actually enjoy the car. It has original floor and is very dry. Many underneath pictures in the link above.
