My Dad Bought This 1975 Factory (F26 VIN) 4x4 Crew Cab In the Mid 1980s In Harbor City, California. He Rarely Drove This Crew Cab, Since He Also Has a 1974 F250 He Bought New. Throughout My Father’s 40 Year Ownership, the Crew Cab Spent Most of Its Life In Southern California, and Then Was Taken to Northern California When My Parents Retired.

This Rare Crew Cab, Being of a Long Term Ownership, was Not Cut Up, Hacked Up, or Heavily Modified Into an Offroad Monster Truck or Swamp Racer. It was Used to Support the 2 Homes My Father Built In South Lake Tahoe, and Truckee, California.

The Crew Cab Is a Rare Factory 4x4 Crew Cab with the F26 VIN Number. It’s Factory Build From 1975 Includes Front and (Rear Limited Slip) Dana 60 Heavy Duty Differentials with the Factory Optional 4.10 Gear Ratio. The Engine is 390 FE Cubic Inch V8 with an Upgraded Edelbrock 4 Barrel Carburetor, mated to a C6 3 Speed Automatic Transmission and a Divorced 205 New Process Transfer Case (HD Gear Driven). Power Assisted Steering, Power Brakes, and the Midnight Blue Metallic Exterior Paint were Also Some Options That Came on This Truck In 1975. Since It’s a 1975, California DOES NOT Require a Biennial Smog Check.

Newer Bench Seats, Updated Bumpers, and a Few Misc. Upgrades were Added During My Father’s 40 Year Ownership.

The Winter of 2022/ 2023 was a Record Breaking Year For Precipitation In California. The Town of Truckee Saw 505 Inches (Over 42 Feet) of Snow This Past Winter. Unfortunately, the Snow, which Turned to Ice, Damaged the Roof of the Crew Cab. As the Pictures Show, the Roof Needs Bodywork From the Winter Snow and Ice, Not From Rust or a Rollover.
