1972 Ford Mustang Additional Info:

1972 Mustang Fastback Base model; original 351ci 2bb carb, automatic transmission, ps, pb, ac car. Purchased from AZ, got it home and got it started, drove it and found it needed a head gasket. Decided to do more than that, rebuilt heads with roller rockers and holly carb 4bb, edelbrock cam and intake, headers, aluminum radiator, electronic distributor, lot of stuff all new in the box, etc. It would be considered a mild project or weekend job for a car guy, new tires, original wheel covers, manual, red interior. Do not know history on it, including actual milage. You'll probably have to see this in person to make sure it's what you want, thank you, OBO
Donor car available, 1971 mercury maquis 429ci 2bb that was running fine, I was planning to put the 429 in the mustang. Wont have the time to finish these things.

More information; the weekend job I mentioned was about the engine itself, just needs to put on/attach the carb, alternator, PS pump, radiator, fan, headers/exhaust. The car ran and drove before all the new stuff. The car itself should be considered; needs some work or restoration if you like. There are no holes in the floor or dents, the car feels very solid, doors close perfectly. Windshield has crack, both lower rear quarter panels behind the rear wheels has rust holes, lower radiator support has bend inward, the fender pan where the battery sits was rusted, carpet was taken out so I could check the floors-theres no concerning rust, seats are all there but 50 years old like everything else but usable, some interior plastic pieces dried up-broke off, door panels are there Just added some photos that show the worst of what I can see or know about, so an in person inspection should be done outside of requesting more photos or asking questions if there is any doubt about anything. Thanks again I hope this goes to someone who will use it, enjoy it, and have some fun fixing it up.
