1977 Ford F-250 Additional Info:

Video and Marti report added 7/19. This is the ultimate F-250 Highboy! So many different possibilities could be done on this truck. I had intended on restoring the cab and installing a nice aluminum bed and using it as a fifth wheel hauler. It came from the factory as a standard F-250 4X4 with Hi/Lo range. Someone added the dually rear at some point.Custom fabricated rear flat bed with 1/4" diamond plate.
This truck runs, drives, shifts great and the 4X4 works well. This truck is a real stump puller in low range 1st gear. It just crawls like a tank with gobs of torque. The frame and suspension seem to be in great condition, the only defect being one of the rear shock mounts need replacement. The engine sounds like it might be built [possibly mild cam?] but I don't know the history on it. It sounds and runs great. Trust me, you will be hooked on this truck once you drive it. It makes you feel invincible!
Seems I have too many projects going on and some of them need to go. I hate to sell this one, but I have others that are taking priority. New seat, some bodywork and a new paint job and you have 30-35k value truck. I have owned it for 2 years and drove it approx. 30 miles to my house when I bought it and it has been sitting since, only starting it occasionally.
