Vehicle Details

This Factory Ford F250 4x4 Highboy is not restored, and not a restomod. This F250 is a bone dry west coast all original and well-maintained "Time Warp" survivor, with 88K original miles ! The mileage is believable when you feel how the doors open and close and well this truck runs, shifts, and drives down the road at 70 MPH as smooth and quiet as any very late model and almost new truck. Not a squeak or rattle and the almost silent running gear truly makes a believer of the original miles ! This is the heavy-duty model F250 with the big axles, and this truck was a special order Camper Special which was not offered in 4x4. Very rare with the 7700 GVWR in a 4x4. I ordered a Marti Report for this truck and the VIN matches the infamous 300 I6 still in place and running smooth and strong ! Built in the San Jose, CA. plant and with a Domestic Special Order (DSO) # 0277, this truck spent all its life near the San Jose plant until recently relocated East. Still retains the original NP435 4 SPD, NP205 divorced transfer case, 4.10 Dana 60 rear axle and Dana 44F front. Everything on the truck works as it should (all lights, gauges, heat, wipers), and a vintage push button AM look, but aftermarket AM/FM digital stereo with AUX plug provides great sound. All glass, molding and window felt is exceptional and seal tight with zero wind noise. Super heavy duty tow bumper, and spare tire under the bed. Truck bed has some wear as per the pictures. This is an extremely solid west coast truck with no rust issues and solid floor boards, cab corners and solid throughout. The only notable corrosion is noted in the last two pictures - rust through on inner fender under front part of the battery tray, and slight corrosion bottom rear of drivers front fender. Remainder of truck is rock solid. I use this truck intermittently in my small landscape business and it is useful as a daily driver whenever I need it to be. This thing is an absolute beast but so humble as it rolls down the road with ease and almost in silence. 7572370633 https://www.youtube.com/shorts/t7BkVS0VgJI
