1970 Ford Mustang Additional Info:
Up for Sale is a 1970Mustang MACH 1,FastbackV8 351 with an Automatic transmission, Power Steering with a New York Transferable registration (Same as a Title for older Cars) with 81,671 miles on the odometer. The car is a true Barn Find that was picked up in northern New York. Based on the information obtained the car had been stored in an old Barn for the last 43 years, since 1979. The paint on the car appears to be original but there are areas that they had done body work on and had repainted before car was parked. This car is from an Estate sale and according to the family members who sold the vehicle the car is all original and has the original motor and transmission. The car sat in an old barn since 1979 and never moved until recently when the car was picked up. There is rust everywhere on the car from the frame to the body. Floors as shown in the pics are very much gone with the exception of the driver rear that somehow survived. There is some damage in the front left and right fender and besides the rust there are some dents all around the body.In the interior all seats, door panels, and interior panels appear to be intact and seem to be in a decent shape considering the condition from the rest of the car.The dash is complete with all gauges, etc but some animal got to the dash and damaged as shown in the pics by chewing on the vinyl and foam in the center top of the dash. The motor seems to be intact but the radiator had been removed from the engine bay. The Transmission shifts and in Neutral the car rolls fine. The rear brake Drums had been removed as they were frozen from sitting but the car has front disk brakes that seem to be intact.Car has the original shaker hood and it seems to be in good condition with the original paint but someone had removed the original scoop. The wheels installed are from a 60's GT car with new tires that were installed in order to move the car.Selling this car AS - IS and as you see in the pictures. Although this appears to be an original car with original motor, transmission and rear end the car needs a full restoration. Not really sure the extent of the damage of the frame and the body or the condition of the motor and any other mechanical components therefore you must assume the worst. Please see the pics and feel free to ask any questions you may have as this car needs everything!Buyer is responsible for making shipping arrangements but I will be happy to work with the transportation company hired to load and have the car shipped.
