Vehicle Details

I have for sale a 1967 Ford Fairlane 500. I bought this car 2 years ago...I have known of this car for 10 years. It had been sitting since 2004 up until I bought it and got it back on the road. This car is a very solid original old car. It is not perfect by any stretch but it can be enjoyed like it is or if someone wants to take it to the next level it is a great candidate. It is a factory 289 2 barrel /cruisematic, power steering, manual drum brake, air conditioning car. It has true dual exhaust all the way out that has been on there 20 years ( my best guess)

I will list everything that is new or has been replaced: Turn signal switch, all drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, and hardware. New Master cylinder, solenoid, fuel pump, water pump, carburetor, plugs, wires, cap, button, as well as upgraded to Pertronix ignition. New battery trey, battery, and hold down assembly. New fuel tank and sending unit. New belts. New aluminum radiator and thermostat and hoses. New seat belts and windshield wipers (they come on but will not shut off so I unplugged them). 15" Ford Galaxie wheels that were blasted and painted Wimbledon white with New Firestone tires (same size all the way around) correct dog dish / poverty caps.

Here is the negative about the car ( just being honest) The car was painted years ago and the paint is weak...showing great patina but I like it that way. Drivers side rear quarter was bumped and needs to be pulled out but does not rub. Passenger door needs to be adjusted. Floor pans need a little work...see photos. It does smoke a little on the passenger side but not real bad.. Power steering leaks fluid and the transmission leaks fluid. The dash was cut for a radio and the driver front fender was cut for an antenna.

The car runs and drives great ( for a 1967 Ford ) it is not perfect so if that is what you are looking for there are plenty out there for 30 or 40 thousand. Clean SC title in my name. I am in Lexington SC and I would encourage anyone to come take a look before bidding. Please don't bid unless you plan on buying. Very reasonable reserve. The car will not be released until funds clear. $500.00 non refundable deposit required at the end of the auction. NO WARRANTY/ NO RETURNS ALL SALES FINAL. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
