Kom-Pak trailers was a company located in Oregon who for a short time, manufactured the Kom-Pak sportsman trailer. Only 16 of these truly unique trailers were ever produced and it is said that only 6 have survived. The trailer is made of fiberglass but, what makes it so very unique is that its roof is a removable fishing boat !This trailer has received a ground up documented restoration. Take a look at the kitchenette at the back of the trailer. When the boat is removed a tent like canvas covers the trailer. The rig received a "best of show" award at the Bonners Concours. This is without question one of THE coolest rigs anyone could show up with at any car show !To pull this rare Sportsman, is a matching 1954 Ford Crestline Victoria 2 door hard top. The car starts, runs and drives perfectly and is finished in its original Ford Coral paint. This Vickie has its original small block V8 and three on the tree manual transmission. The 61,000 miles on the car are said to be accurate. The car is absolutely rust free. Chrome and glass are all excellent as is the interior. This is one VERY rare opportunity to acquire a very interesting piece of Americana... actually 2 pieces !I am pretty darn sure another matching combination like this does not exist anywhere on the planet, this is something truly unique. For Washington State residents, taxes, registration and license fees and negotiable $200.00 documentation fee are applicable. Please note: this rig is located in Northwest Montana. |
