1966 Ford F-100 Custom Cab Additional Info:
The glossy paint, leather interior, and a quality overall presentation makes this 1966 Ford F-100 instantly attractive. Of course, it's that strong-running big V8 under the hood that really makes this one irresistible.
The burgundy paint is an awesome color we all like because of the red boldness mixed with dark hue. The consignor claims this truck was restored only about 5k miles ago, and the shine of the clearcoat luster really shows a commitment to care. It's this same deep gloss that also highlights some of our favorite parts of the classic sheetmetal, including the sporty flared fenders and power dome hood. It has great classic details, like the vintage Ford V8 emblem, chrome bumpers, and the full-length trim that really shows off the quality of the panels. More than just a well-done classic, the hint of forward-leaning nice stance, raised white letter tires, and an aerodynamic tonneau cover are all the right hints that this looker is a muscle truck, too.
The interior keeps a proper pickup attitude while also making some investments in worthwhile upgrades. For example, you get the classic style bench seat, but now it's finished in a supple leather. Good carpeting, nice door panels, and a smooth dash complete a quality look and feel. You'll also appreciate the upgraded driving music of an AM/FM/CD stereo with iPod input, USB charger and upgraded speakers. The classic Ford steering wheel has been refinished in a coordinating burgundy, and the machine-turned panel is a bright way to present the factory gauges. But the large oil pressure and tach readouts on the steering column are a clear indication of something special under the hood.
You'll immediately spot your favorite upgrade the moment you see the engine bay. That 390 cubic-inch V8 looks great with shining components and tidy wires/hoses all calling attention to this powerhouse. This big V8 also has the right go-fast goodies like a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and headers. Plus, you have the right supporting components like the Optima red top battery, MSD Plug wires, electric choke, and aluminum radiator. It's the kind of total package that fires up with confidence as it also makes a terrific rumble out of the dual exhaust. The C6 three-speed automatic transmission is a stout unit that feeds the Ford 9-inch rear end. And this is a solid all-around driver with power steering, power brakes, and upgraded front discs.
Slick, powerful, and absolutely memorable - this is the truck you've always wanted. So don't let end up in someone else's garage. Call now!
