1946 Ford F-100 Additional Info:
I took this truck on a partial trade for a vintage motorcycle collection. I will describe it to the best of my ability. If your looking for a brandnew factory showroom luxury truck this truck isn't for you. It's an upgraded vintage truck with many modern conveniences to make it much more enjoyable and user friendly.
The truck is a California truck (check CA vin picture) that came to Florida in 2004 when the restoration was done over a period of time. The truck is all metal except for the two rear fenders. I found a raised spot at the bottom rear front fender approximately the size if a dime. The body work is very straight and the paint is really nice with a few small scratches and nicks you would expect to find in not abrand new restoration.
The engine is a 24 stud V8 flatheadDual carburetors with high-rise intakeUpgraded 3 core aluminum radiatorMSD ignition with 12 volt conversionTransmission is a 5 speed10 bolt rear endPower front disc brakes with rack and pinion power steeringAlternator instead of generatorPower windowsAll windows are tinted and new with new rubberPecan inlay wood bedBrand new Mickey Thompson tires and wheels with 300 miles (dated 3/2020)Dual exhaust with headersDual temperature gaugesDual brake master cylinder
There are probably more extras I forgot but check my pictures carefully if your interested. What I have found that is going to need attention is the emergency brake is going to need tightening and the speedometer is erratic but the odometer is accurate. The interior light doesn't seem to be working. Engine sounds very good with no funny noises or smoking, good oil pressure and starts right up.All the pedals are original and the horn is an ahooga type. All lights and w/wipers work fine.
Buyer is responsible for shipping. A $1,000 PayPal non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours. The truck is a vintage truck and sold as is with no warranties. Prefer bank wire transfer for payment. If you live in the Daytona Beach area and would like to see the truck you can contact Brian at 386-738-5113.
