Ready for some speed!!! Well, here you go. For sale here is a very nice 1970 Ford Torino Cobra 429 4-speed!This cool Cobra is all numbers matching. I have lots and lots of documentation. Original invoice, original title, original warranty card, Marti report, shop manual, all of the parts and maintenance receipts, etc. The 429 runs and sounds great. It sports its original colors of Bright Yellow exterior with black interior.The 4-speed shifts well and the car has loads of power. Optional factory 15" wheels and power disc brakes. Has competition suspension, traction lok differential, power steering, power front disc brakes, AM radio, tinted glass, and rear window louvers.The original owner bought the car in 1970 and owned it for 40 years! I also will include the original dealer installed under dash A/C. The body of this 70's muscle car is excellent. The paint is very nice and the body is smooth. Just put on new front and rear bumpers. has Original hubcaps and very good raised white letter BF Goodrich tires. The original black vinyl interior is very good except the front seat bottom has cracking. I will inlcude a new quality original front seat cover which is currently ordered and waiting to be delivered. The rear seat and door panels are nice. Nice dash and clear gauges. One small dash crack. The seats are very comfortable and the ride of the car is really quite smooth. Newer shocks and newer exhaust. This Cobra was very well maintained throughout its life. Only 68,477 miles on the odometer. The underside of this muscle car is solid but unrestored. The original engine compartment is very clean. The following items are working: fuel ga, odometer, temp ga, speedo, radio, e-brake, wipers, headlights, all turn signals, brake lights, windows, dome light, the doors open and shut solidly with no sag, the hood and trunk lid open easily and shut solidly as well. A brand new reproduction to original trunk mat is also included. Currently the heater fan and horn aren't working. This is a very rare and impressive 70's muscle car. The Cobra runs and drives great with lots of power. Only 1,673 of the 1970 Cobras had this engine and transmission code. Very rare indeed! The interior is nice and the paint, body, and chrome make this one a fun one to tear around in. Feel free to ask questions. Sold in as-is condition. Inspection available.
