Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as the Terms & Conditions located at the bottom of each listing, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1986 Ford F-150. I would rate the exterior of this F-150 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this truck has held up pretty well over time. It's finished in Blue over Blue interior. As you can see, the finish shows fading from age all over. However, the body is actually pretty nice. Body rust is minimal and the body is straight from front to back. Even the bed looks to be in good condition. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory wheel covers are all present and the tires show average tread all around. Please take your time and take a good look at this old Ford. You're probably not going to win any trophies, but she is a solid old truck. I would also rate the interior of this F-150 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you'd expect, the interior is pretty basic. The floors are solid. The doors look clean. The dash even looks not half bad. The original radio has been upgraded with a modern aftermarket unit. The heater works well. As you can see, the seat was worn like you'd expect. The previous owner came up with a very interesting solution. They cut out the bad and replaced it with a piece of foam, wrapped in a picnic blanket. Once you're sitting in the seat, it's pretty comfortable. There isn't much else to say about the interior...just basic old truck stuff. Mechanically, this old Ford appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 300ci inline six cylinder engine is known to be indestructible. This one fires up easily and idles perfectly smooth. The suspension feels nice and tight. Steering and braking feel good, too. All of the gauges in the instrument cluster appear to be working and read normally. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. The big straight six feels smooth and strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. Like I mentioned earlier, you're not going to win any trophies with this truck, but it's a solid old truck. She would be a great foundation for a restoration or just keep using it as a cheap truck.
