1979 Ford Bronco Additional Info:
This 1979 Ford Bronco has serious big block power, a cool two-tone look, and a fresh interior. So it's exactly what you want when it's time for one classic that's ideal for both show and play.
These second-generation Broncos will always have a special place in out enthusiast heart. They were late to come down the line, and so they were only available for two short years. But they took the established Bronco name and brought it into a whole new world of size and style. This one loves to show off this lineage with added flair. It puts a shining face forward with a new grille, clear headlights, and a shining chrome bumpers. The paint package is a custom two-tone that used the original side trim as a dividing line. It has the right look to grab attention with plenty of gloss and the removable hardtop is even painted to coordinate. Bright trailing mirrors, big dual exhaust tips, and polished 15-inch Ion Alloy wheels are all part of a package that makes this look both shining and substantial.
These second-gen Broncos give you extra space to spread out, and this one takes full advantage with solid interior investments. You have the right fundamental, like a newer dash pad, window felts, and seat covers. And speaking of the seats, the front buckets were updated to a more modern set with extra comfy bolstering. This even has a brand-new carting kit (a $800 investment all on its own.) So while you can remove the roof for a cool open-air experience, this one looks like it hasn't been left open to the world since the interior investments. There are nice factory features, like the power rear window and the heat controls show this was a factory A/C vehicle (will need components and servicing to return the function.) Plus, you have worthwhile upgrades, like the Grant sports steering wheel and the JVC AM/FM/CD stereo with iPod input.
Under the hood is the best upgrade of them all. This generation Bronco was known for really upgrading the V8 power. The factory gave it some large small blocks, but since these were based on the F-Series truck, the engine by really could accommodate much more. That's why this one has one of the biggest big block around. And not only do you have the mighty 460 cubic-inch V8, but also there's a Brawler four-barrel carburetor on top. The full package has been maintained nicely on everything from the fresh motor paint to the new gas tank. This big V8 fires up readily and delivers plenty of hardy power. So it's a good pairing with the two-speed transfer case, upgraded shocks, and BF Goodrich Rugged Terrain tires for a go-anywhere 4x4 experience. But with power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and power brakes w/front discs, go-anywhere can also just mean a night on the town.
This is a second-gen Bronco with the look and power to get it truly noticed. So if you want an awesome all-around 4x4, don't miss this Ford. Call today!!!
