1972 Ford Pinto Additional Info:
1972 ford pinto hatchback automatic rear wheel drive, disk brakes
Very hard to find these in this condition. Very very solid small bumper Pinto, rear wheel drive classic car. Would make a great car to make into a daily driver or into a cool retro race car.
As is it starts up and runs, drives, stops, etc. Would need a good going over to fix any leaks, flush older fluids, etc. Brakes are spongyand need adjusted in rear at least. Current motor runs and is a 2.0, it has fabricated motor mountsthat work well.
The fire wall was fabricated and moved back for a V6 that was in it on Nitrous. The previousowner put the current 4cyl in it. The owner then passed away and the car sat inside a garage for many years, that's why its still so solid and paint is nice.
Disk brakes in front.
Has had the dangerous rear gas tank replaced and reinforced with a much thicker and safer one.
Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!

Added a few more pictures. Looks like there is a tag from where the car was undercoated. Has a sunroof also and a Grant steering wheel.
The turn signal stalk is missing and someone put a toggle switch. The battery was mounted in the trunk and it looks like it has competition style traction bars on it from racing.
I drove the car home about 7 miles and it is basically drivable, but would need alot of tlc to make it safe and dependable, it has an oil leak, needs alignment, brakes are non power and need some attention but work, starts right up and runs good and shifts good. I'd put a small V8 into it if I kept it. Tires look new and are Comp TA's.
Make a cool, very solid car to do whatever you wanted to. Paint is nice, chrome all looks good, etc.
