1915 Model T Ton Truck. Extremely rare chain drive conversion kit. So rare, in fact, that I cannot even find a record of another one that has ever sold. The chain drive T Trucks were modified existing Ford car chassis with a 3' frame extension and an chain drive reduction that gave it more torque. Super cool and a great conversation piece to talk about while drinking beer in the garage with the fellas.
The chain drive on this truck was by Smith Form-A-Truck in Chicago. There is tons of information about them online.
The previous owner had this truck completely restored many years ago. They said they spent over 30k going through this truck. I believe that. This is not a museum quality vehicle but it is very nice and would be great for small car shows or for someone who wanted to use it with their small business to get more traffic. I have used it sort of like a golf cart to drive around my neighborhood with my family. The frame, drive train, chassis, and suspension are all completely rust free and in excellent condition. The drive train has also been overhauled and has a very low amount of run time.
It has an added electric start to make it easier to start and drive.
The truck runs and drives great and I have videos of it driving through my neighborhood upon request. This is a great truck and I don't really want to sell it, but I don't really have a place to keep it either.
