About this vehicleThis 1987 Ford Ranger is an original with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle is drivable and is used as a daily driver.Seller's Notes1987 Ford Range, the body has duct tape residue near the doors and windows because the passenger side window got broken and I covered it and the convertible top that is missing to keep water from coming in when I had it stored outside. It has been stored inside the past few years and all that tape residue is gone now because I cleaned it off completely. the truck has some body damage like the dented passenger side fender and has a little bit of rust here and there but not too much. this truck has over $20,000 engine transmission and other racing parts put into it. everything with the drivetrain has been changed to handle the power of the 5.0 engine that is bored over 30 with a double pump Holley carburetor. it has all the racing gauges inside and has the slap stick shifter. I was going to redo the whole interior because I didn't like the colors and fabrics they used But I don't have the time or space to do that anymore and I need to sell this truck because I have four kids that I need to plan for the Future for and all my toys must go in order for me to start saving money for college, cars, clothing and everything else four kids need. I really feel horrible about selling this truck because it is one of a kind and you will not find another truck identical to it anywhere. the engine and transmission only have 10,000 miles on them and the truck runs and drives great and is a beast and a had turner. I use to own two car dealerships in Detroit Michigan and I took this truck in as a trade in and the gentleman gave me all the paperwork showing how much money he spent on parts and it is actually over $20,000 of Parts alone without the truck. he also spent about $8,000 on the paint job that was airbrushed buy one of the best painters in the area. the doors on the truck open by remote control so there is no door handles. it has the gas tank in the cab of the truck along with the battery. I think he mentioned to me that the trucks cab tilts backwards but I have never attempted or messed with that. the truck also has brand new rims and tires that he said he paid about $3,000 for alone. the passanger side rear tire has a air leak. the truck has a push button ignition. the bottom of the truck is clean and i don't think it has major rust anywhere. I don't know how many horse power it has but I can tell you that I've smoked mustangs and many other hot rods with this truck and when you punch it it feels like the whole front end gets off the ground.
