1952 Ford F-350 Additional Info:
All stock mostly restored Ford 1-ton pickup (built like a tank). No rust but a few very minor dents. This truck had spent most of its 68 year life sitting idle in a back yard in Yuba City California. Bought new by an older gentlemen who (as told by the family) used it for around 5 years then passed away. His wife let it sit and the original engine block cracked due to lack of antifreeze – so there it sat for near 45 years. I bought it from the family back around 2000. The truck had less than 25,000 miles on it when I bought it. Since then I installed a professionally rebuilt stock 239 V-8 engine and completed a lot of restoration. Including: new wood bed, wiring harness, interior, seat, window kits, all new brakes and new glass for back window. I installed blinkers, fog lights and running lights, new stock gages, all new door and window gaskets, new tires on original 17” rims. Has Electric wipers, found and installed a brush guard that was a factory option back in the day and had the stock radio re-conditioned – it works. The original metal bed strips are not even scratched. I may have put around 2500 miles on this truck when I owned it in California. The last time it was licensed was 2010. I hauled it to Spokane and it has been sitting in my barn for 10 years. I drive it around the neighborhood a few times a year. FYI this year and model came with a four speed transmission with “Granny” gear and no syncros so it needs to be double clutched when shifting gears. I just changed the oil. I currently have it on a non-op registry so it is all legal. I am moving and need to downsize.
