This fabulous 1959 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner 2 door convertible is in excellent condition inside and out. The car was acquired from an Arizona museum in 2008.
The body and mechanicals had been restored prior to 2008. The original high quality interior with excellent patina was retained demonstrating the excellent pre-restoration quality of this 59,960 mile classic. The exterior including chrome is in beautiful condition. The car was repainted in its original color “Fawn Tan” (peach/salmon) and shows very well. The underside is very clean and has powder coated frame, rear end and suspension parts. At the time of acquisition by the seller $15,000 was spent bringing the Skyliner back to life on minor matters such as ensuring gauges work and installing 4 way seat base and levers. Everything works in the car, including all gauges, lights, dash lights, wipers, windows and power top. The original AM radio is included.
There are less than 1,000 miles on new whitewall radials. The 352/300 hp engine V8 runs strong and purrs like a kitten. The car is being sold from a collection in Vancouver, Canada.
Vehicle located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada with a clean BC title. This car is very easy to import into the USA.
