1993 SVT F-150 Lightning

Entering the full-size sport truck marketplace in 1993, the SVT F-150 Lightning brought a more balanced approach to high-performance pickups. Instead of focusing only on straight-line acceleration, Lightning added sporty handling and towing functionality to the mix, allowing it to lap a race course as fast or faster than a Mustang GT of the same vintage, or to tow up to 8,400 pounds. Developed by the F-150 team and given to SVT to market, the Lightning featured a high-output 351 cubic-inch V-8 rated at 240 horsepower, good for 0-60 mph springs in the mid 7-second rang and quarter-mile times in the mid-15s.

So now that you have the basic specs in front of you this is one of 2585 lightnings built in 1993.This is a real lightning with VIN # verified. this one has a vinyl wrap on it as a previous owner decided to paint the truck dark midnight blue metallic but never painted the door jambs, under the hood etc. The owner previous to me did the vinyl wrap on the truck. It looks great from 5-10 feet away shines and is nice and glossy but don't be fooled this truck deserves a repaint properly. Does have a nice bed cover and has been rhino lined for bed liner. Truck doesn't have any rust. Tons more pics available. This truck only has 124606 miles. It runs like it should and is a blast to drive. It has 2005 Lightning wheels and tires mounted on it and the stock set of blades to come with. Great opportunity to own a very rare truck at a fraction of the price.
