1975 Ford F-100 Additional Info:
1975 Ford f100 short bed pickup truck. My dad bought the truck new and gave it to me several years ago. I have all the original chrome exterior molding that was taken off when the truck was sanded down to bare metal and primed several years ago.
Originally the truck was 2WD with 3 on the tree transmission.
It was converted to a 4x4, 4 on the floor 3 years ago by taking the transmission, transfer case, axles, and steering from a 1978 F-150 4x4 that had a 6 inch skyjacker lift. New Nitro shocks were purchased from skyjacker for the conversion.
After the conversion, the front end ball joints were replaced, adjustable track bar was placed, and the alignment done to tighten up the steering. All new brakes were done and a new parking brake installed.
The exhaust was also recently done at a muffler shop where they added headers without any gaskets to the motor. The truck has the original 302 motor with aftermarket 4 barrel edelbrock carburetor.
The truck was transported from Oregon to Alaska to Arizona on a flatbed trailer during the winter and has light surface rust. The first picture was taken in Oregon. All other pictures taken in Arizona just a few weeks ago. I have more pictures available upon request.
I recently bought a gallon of corrseal and applied it to the driver side door and a few other minor surface rust spots.
I was using the truck as my daily commuter to work until the rear differential started leaking a few months ago. I had a shop look at it and replace the seals. When the work was done, they determined that the rear differential housing needed to be replaced or the rear differential will keep leaking. Odometer has rolled over so I'm not sure on the actual mileage.
Forced to sell due to finances. Send me a message with a offer and I'll consider it.
